Year-End Anxiety
If you're reading this, you're probably a little bit anxious about the next 4-6 weeks.
Will our organization hit our budget and fundraising targets?
Are we planning effectively for next year?
Will I even be able to enjoy Thanksgiving and Christmas with my family?!
We get it.
We're painfully familiar with these worries having led several nonprofits.
We see you, and we witness every day the many ways you sacrifice for the good of those you serve.
If you're the "trust by verify" type, here's some data to help ease any fundraising-specific anxieties you may be harboring:
The Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana University
is projecting a 4.2% overall increase in giving for CY 2024,
and an additional 3.9% increase in CY 2025
which would buck recent trends and be higher than the 40-year average
While we can't promise that your organization will meet all of its goals, or that this data will ring true for your organization, we do know that the funds are likely out there to sustain your mission, and that your hard work building strong donor relationships will accrue to the benefit of your organization.
